Claudine Lebègue

Singer, Accordionist, Actress, Author and Composer

Press :

"Multifaceted and big-hearted artist, Claudine Lebègue transports her audience into the maelstrom of life with her generous and warm voice. An artist in the purest tradition of French singers who loves people and ordinary folks, whose songs are made of meetings"
Newspaper La Tribune – Le Progrès

"A little woman with a rough-hewn face in her black suit, here comes Claudine Lebègue. Although her lyrics are modern, connection with Montmartre in the 50s can be heard in every intonation. It smells absinthe and gray tobacco or, as Audiart would say : it’s pure, it’s violent, it’s brutal."
Gerard Humbert - Newspaper Le Dauphiné Liberé

Claudine Lebègue is a French artist born in Paris. Her career began in the 90s in the metro, in the cafés, cabarets and music-halls of Montmartre. From musical encounters to stage encounters, she followed her route to theaters and toured national scenes.

After recording "Zelda coeur de vache", "Rose et Roger" and "A ma zone", she is preparing a new album "A ma zone 2".

In parallel she published two volumes of her autobiography "A ma zone", part 1 and 2. Part 3 is in preparation.

She has so far created 10 shows, and also proposes a recital, alone on stage with her accordion, in which she mixes her own songs and covers from the French repertoire (Piaf, Brel, Brassens, Ferré...).
